Privacy Policy for the app “Entscheider”

Last updated: 28 September 2026

This privacy policy explains how the app “Entscheider” (“Decision Maker”) for macOS (the “app”) handles your data. It applies to this app only, and not to websites, app stores or third-party profiles.

1. Controller

The controller under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is:

Andreas Maier

Dürerstr. 14, 73547 Lorch, Germany

Email: support@amapps.app

2. No data protection officer

No data protection officer under Art. 37 GDPR has been appointed, because there is no legal obligation to do so (single individual, no large-scale processing of personal data). Please contact the controller above with any questions.

3. Overview and principle

“Entscheider” is a business simulation game that runs entirely on your Mac. The controller runs no servers of his own and does not collect, receive or store any personal data.

4. Data stored locally

The app stores on your Mac:

For playback, the app also keeps the music tracks in its own cache. None of this contains personal data and none of it is transmitted anywhere. It is kept in the app’s own area on your Mac (~/Library/Containers/com.entscheider.app), where you can delete it at any time.

5. Legal bases

Where any processing takes place at all, it serves the performance of the contract for use of the app (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).

6. Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right of access (Art. 15), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and objection (Art. 21), as well as the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority (Art. 77).

Since the controller receives no personal data from you, he can neither provide information about you nor erase any data. Everything the app stores is on your Mac and under your control alone.

7. Children

The app is not directed at children and collects no data, whatever the age of the user.

8. Apple as the distribution channel

The app is obtained through the Mac App Store. In doing so, Apple processes data under its own responsibility (for example about the download). The controller has no influence over this and gains no knowledge of it. Apple’s privacy policy applies.

9. Changes to this policy

If the app changes, this policy will be adjusted. The version published here, bearing the date given above, is the authoritative one.
